Jenin, West Bank

A few photos from a day in Jenin in the northern West Bank. The town of around 50,000 Palestinians is famous for its old church and Palestinian dancers and actors. For most Israelis Jenin is notorious for the April 2002 "Battle of Jenin" in which 23 Israeli soldiers and 52 Palestinians were killed.
