| Nablus is known a the "kitchen of the West Bank." Men here eat Kanafeh a Palestinian dessert made of Nablusi cheese covered in pastry dough with sweet syrup and pistachios. Nablus is also known as a hotbed of opposition towards the Palestinian Authority government, and terrorism towards Israel. The graffiti in the background reads "Hamas." |
